Roger, the restoration was fully photo documented and many of the photos are posted on our webpage. As far as how much metal was removed, we try and retain as much of the original sheet metal as possible. This is usually more expensive but many people prefer to have "original sheetmetal" in their car as opposed to replacements regardless if they are NOS. We are also able to preserve most all the factory spot welds and die marks using this method. All joints are butt welded removing any signs of the work that was performed and leaving a flawless seam. Floor pans are usually a different story as that is just too cost prohibitive to repair versus replace. The entire floor pan on this car was replaced with a one piece donor from Arizona.
