Default Re: removing the orange speedo needle

Hoping you have the speedo out of the plastic housing, make a pencil mark on the shiney drum on the edge and a corresponding mark on the back of the speedo face while the needle is resting on ~0~ so you can realign the needle when you reassemble it. To remove the needle, hold the shiney drum on the back and lightly twist the needle back and forth till it comes loose. All that are required are fingers. No tools required. To put the needle back on, push it back on the pin and twist it back and forth while pushing it on. Remember those marks you put on the back, it's time to make sure they are aligned when you're all through. Sounds complicated but it really isn't.
