I talked at length with the owner of this car, as we were both at the Pavillions very early today. Aside from a couple minor detail items (like the cowl hood seal pointed out elsewhere here) this car looked just stunning to me Current owner was 12 yrs old when this car was brand new in the small town in Canada where both he and the original owner lived....he remembers it terrorizing the local streets. A few years ago, he was finally successful at buying it from the original owner, and commisioned the restoration. Original owner kept every bit of documentation that came with the car and an incredibly detailed log of gas fill-ups, oil changes, etc. from new. Plus being a Canadian car, it has GM of Canada documentation. Doubtful that there's any better documented LS6 Chevelle out there.

This car's owner also has several other Chevelles, including a Monaco orange 69 COPO and the 4K mile Mist green 70 LS6 Chevelle which will be going across the block at the Russo & Steele auction this month.
