It would take many years for these cars to increase in value and that means not driving them. I would rather buy a vehicle I could run the crap out of and not worry about the collector value. Do you think 40 years ago a buyer went to a chevy dealership and thought to himself that the 1969 ZL1 camaro or COPO would be a good investment for later on down the road???? I dont think so, they would have bought the car to run the crap out of it at the track or on the street. This is why these cars are worth so much today because it took guys like myself to buy a car, run the crap out of it, diminish the quantity for you future investors to spend their money on a car that they would be afraid to drive like it was made to do.
