Default Re: Value on a low (really low) mile 1995 Camaro 1

I am very aware of the 1LE packages, the ones that came out in 88 and continued through the new bodies. Not sure if the Players cars had the big brakes on the early years ...

My best man at my wedding was the chassis engineer for those cars (and is still a chassis engineer with GM) ...

We drove to Florida from Detroit in the winter of 87 in a 1LE "prototype" and ran a SCCA race at the Sebring track ...

the 4th gen 1LE's differences were the higher durometer suspension bushings, sway bar(s?), fuel tank baffle, alum prop shaft, DeCarbon shocks (soon replaced by Konis) and no a/c ... the brakes were the same as opposed to the Corvette front rotors that the 3rd gens had

There were several 1LE's that a local dealer (Chapman Chevrolet) ordered and got stuck with ... no a/c in AZ??? lol
