Default Re: Resurrection of a Station

My neighbor ran the local Texaco station for a number of years. He has a couple of pumps and the Big Banjo Sign from that station in his back yard. The porcelain panel is hanging on the wall of his shop and the frame is laying on the ground against his back fence. I've been leaning on him HARD to get it blasted, painted and put up in front of the shop. I've even offered to donate two green porcelain light shades if he'd just get moving, ..... but so far, no luck.

I DID send him this link so maybe I should poke him in the side again tonight.

Agreed, I'd LOVE to have an old station like that in my yard, but maybe I can just 'doll-up' my old original garage to look like a station ............... someday.
