427 Engineering cars were probably built but considering how no factory 427 '67 Camaros were available, wouldn't it be expected the same situation w/ any A-Body cars shipped and transplants necessary at the dealer level?.

Thinking too of how the 9737 '68 Camaros were engineered for L72's but shipped w/ L78's, were things any more organized at A-Body plants...especially for 1967 cars!?

Anyone else remember a thread here within the past year or so w/ a small town dealer 66/67 A-Body L72 transplant story that sounded plausible?.
