Default Re: Porsche Guru’s needed

It is a 69-73 911S aka long hood. In 74 the front turn signals were incorperated into the bumpers changing the configuration of the hood . No more curv down at the front of the hood for the 74 and up model year and the hood is shorter so 1973 and earlier 911 cars are referred to as the "Short hood" cars

It is not a 72 because the 72 model had an oil filler flap on the passenger side rear quarter between the fender well and the door jamb that was identical in style to the gas filler door on the front drivers side fender. Exclusive to that year only like a 63 Corvette was the only year for the split window

911S (Super)was the high performance model . 911T (Touring)and the standard model was the 911E .

PS- I have both a 70 911S and a 74 RSR so if you would like more details feel free to contact me .
