I just don't understand what the bank did wrong here, I explained above a banks usual approach to selling a repossessed car. It is up to the buyer to do his homework as I already stated. Yes, Ed did his homework and has pics and info, but he is not obligated to share it as he paid for it. With that said, from what little we know about this car, I HIGHLY doubt it is a re-body. I don't know for sure, but I bet the hidden vins are there. There are to many indicators to say otherwise. I said it before and I will say it again, someone has a fair shot at owning a Deuce for once. I agree with you Schonye that the buyer for this car needs to be a car guy and not someone who looks at these cars as strictly an investment. It's anyone's game. Be willing to step up to the plate, due your due diligence, and most of all, don't believe the hype.
