Here is an original Camaro or Firebird Hurst shifter. Clean western part with no pitting. Bushings are pretty tired as can be seen in the pics. Overall a clean part but someone has drilled the stalk for a bolt-on shifter handle. I am sure it could be repaired to accept the bayonet style handle. Pics below:
