Default SBC Factory Iron 2.02 Heads - Fully Ported & Cheap

Fellas -

Heads up in case anyone is looking for these heads. Right now they're on eBay with no reserve. Auction ends Friday and the current high bid is $132.

Heads are 3973370 or 370 small block Chevy heads. These are 2.02/1.60 valve heads (see picture of 2.02 valve installed in one head) with 64 cc chambers and screw in rocker studs. They are quite rare, and normally only seen as over the counter heads from 1969-1970 and they were also installed on some Canadian built cars. These are similar to the other SBC 64 cc heads of that era.

These heads are fresh from the machine shop and have had a top notch full port and polish done (sorry, no flow sheets). This is not just some work done to port match the heads or in the bowls, but both the intake and exhaust ports have been fully ported. Looks like hardened seats have also been installed, so you can use them with today's gasoline. I would imagine that the porting alone would run you about $600 at a good machine shop. Add in the cost of a valve job and installing hardened seats, and you're looking at $1,000 just for the machine shop bill.

They have not been run since the machine shop finished them, and I guarantee them to be free from cracks. The heads are bare; just what you see in the pictures. Just add your valvetrain, bolt them on, and go!

See my other auctions for more small block and big block Chevy race, restoration, and transmission parts.
