I'm interested in this too. Somewhere, I have two paint formulas Jay Nixon gave me over twenty years ago, and they were pretty much perfect. One was for parts painted in enamel, the other for parts painted in lacquer. Obviously, the lacquer might be impossible to mix, but I don't know about the enamel. I'll look for the formulas.
