Yeah, I still remember the first high horse power big block w/4 speed I drove as a kid. It pinned me to the seat so hard that I couldn't lean forward without letting off the gas to shift into 2nd gear. What a dilema, having to let go of the feeling just to shift to another gear? I was thinking about this the other day as over the years you get used to it and learn how to expect it and brace for it that the feeling is not like it was the first time. You always see it in the passenger when you nail it though.
