I'll accept the well meant greetings and acknowledgements from others on Veteranss Day.
As I visited Tahoma Nat'l Cemetary (Maple Valley,WA) I saw the fresh graves (no grass/just dirt) from those that recently killed in IRAQ or AFGHANASTAN.
As I walked the rows of tombstones leading to my fathers grave site (Sol Sharin WW2 Battle of The Bulge SILVER STAR)
I viewed and passed many other visitors.
I fail to understand how happy is associated with this day where we stop and recognize our vets, either alive or fallen.
Maybe I should be happy that I'm alive and made it back from my tour............
