I received a call on 10/14 of this year a day before my mother passed stating the owner was finally prepared to sell. It certainly was a bitter sweet moment, but the great pumpkin is on her way home. She still has her orig drive train and loaded with options. Sammy will be proud .. the car will be day 2ed just like the way I originally had her. Its been a long journey and I'm glad she is home. Stay tuned for the journey ahead. </div></div>

Ditto Steve on both. Glad to see the car is coming home. That is a wish of many, very rare when a car comes full circle. <img src="

Thanks Darren. It is indeed very gratifying on many fronts. I had called the owner for so many years that I thought it may not happen. Being Patient (23 yrs)was the key, and now the fun begins. I have already started buying parts for the car an plan to drive this car like I stole it <img src="
