Of late, I have been giving serious consideration to two new vehicles:
1. 2010 Cadillac SRX....an "American" car which is built in Mexico with Mexican labor.
2. 2010 Toyota Venza....a "foreign" car which is built in Kentucky with American labor.
So, which one is really the "foreign" car? Seriously, I don't know
Unfortunately, I think the whole issue is far beyond the flag-waving "Buy American" mentality of old....especially when you factor in the countries of origin of all the components used to build them. Clear as mud
