I knew I should have stuck with a manual trans..anyway Th 400 is making noise..a whirring sounds while driving..also really bangs hard when you put it in reverse..hot or cold.
please tell me its cooked so I can convert to a 4 -5-6 speed ..seriously trans has maybe 1500 miles on it..not a drag racer but I am not easy on it. Shifts OK..too fast for my liking but Im not done playing with the governor..the banging in reverse has me worried..fluid seems clean no noticable metal in it..any ideas?? Thanks
