This is definately a "cream puff" in every sense of the word! The earthy 2-tone paint scheme, the beige interior, the console-less column shift 2-speed, it's all there! I too love these "oddball" color combos.
Most of the GTO's equipped like this were later repainted a more "aggressive" color, and their 2-speed trannys were yanked for a TH400 or a 4-speed. It's cool to see GTO's the way they were actually built. Not every GTO was a red 389 tri-power 4-speed with 3.90 gears.

PHS is the ONLY way to be sure it's a real GTO. May be worth ordering new PHS if your serious about this car, sometimes people fake the documentation. Being as it has a 2-speed auto, and with the colors chosen, chances are that it has a 3.08 or 3.23 non-posi rear, but you never know. An unusual feature is the rally gauge cluster (with in-dash tach), an option not normally seen on a car ordered with the 2-speed column shift.
As for the question about whether the 2-speed hurts the value, are you looking at this to flip, or for Sunday drives/cruise nights?
Most Pontiac collectors wouldn't want a "Musclecar" (especially the grandaddy of them all, the 64 GTO) with these colors, or with this trans, but there are always those that are looking for something different.
But I like it.
