You will spend a lot more to go chase the date correct L78 parts and resto costs than the car will be worth upon completion. The paperwork helps, but the expense to do the car right might out weigh the lack of orig drivetrain come selling time. I bought an 69 L78 car w/ no orig drivetrain for $2k (came with a 12 bolt), but everything else was there and untouched, took what I needed for my other L78 Novas and sold the rest
