The stories about dads always seem to get to me. my dad has had 12 back operations reconstructive surgery on his right foot and just had his right hip replaced and has to have the other done this fall. he is my hero. always has been. Like you Tommy, I bought and am currently restoring an 81 el camino ss for him. we bought a 427 stinger vette hood scoop a muncie 4spd and 327/365hp motor out of a wrecked 65vette.1965 el camino bed emblems 60,s style ss badges old rally wheels. its coming together nicely. he bought a new heritage soft tail 2yrs ago but cant hardly hold it up now. he like the 78-87 el caminos so thats what i bought him. congrats on your find im sure he will be happy.
