I think the 427 Fairlanes and Mopars ran in A/Stock back then. Slicks, headers, air bags gauges a Hurst Competition Plus shifter and a super tune (balanced, clearanced with some head, carb and distributor work was about all you did or needed back then. Don't forget the Cragars!
