Default Re: GM carlisle pics

I drove up to the show yesterday afternoon. It was a perfect day for seeing some cars. The first place we went to was the Solid Lifter Showroom. It was awesome. Got a chance to catch up with Brian and Joe. The place was packed with people who were admiring all the HiPo iron that was inside. The "G" building was the talk of the show. Congrats to everyone who worked together to pull this off, the effort was well worth it and much appreciated. The venue couldn't of been any better.

To top the day off I was able to take a 2010 SS Camaro for a test drive on the grounds. All you had to do was fill out a form, have a valid DL and pass a breathalyzer~! Samlynn was the GM rep who rode with me. She was fun and very easy on the eyes. I thought the car was pretty nice to drive, handled well and had more space inside than I thought. Had the V8 that had some get up and go to it. As we were pulling off to go for the ride, one of the photogs asked me to stop and then one of the Carlisle girls came over and she posed on the hood with me behind the wheel. Man it was fun. Had a cutie in the seat next to me, one sprawled on the hood and I was behind the wheel of a cool muscle car~

The showfields both for the ACA and GM Nationals were smaller than I have seen in the past. Hope it's not a sign of the times. The sky was blue, the sun was out, the humidity was low and the cars where there. It was a good way to spend a Saturday~
