Default Re: safety kleen problem

Please make sure they do a second blood test and have it checked by a different facility. A similar but not as serious (almost comical) result came back with my company physical a few years ago. The blood result said I had a high estrogen level and had borderline osteoporosis.

Luckily, during that same week I had my yearly cholesteral check with my own doctor who took a blood draw and sent that out.

Gee what do you think the result was? That one was completely normal.

Thankfully the company has changed medical contractors since then. We will see next week when my next physical is due at the new place.

By the way, that same old facility also failed two of my friends on their cardio stress treadmill tests. The barely English speaking medical assistants informed the guys that they they might die if they continued the test. (Both guys were marathon runners with about 4% body fat and in perfect health). The same assistants had me do the test three times in a row after the first test ended with no paper in the printer. The second test ended with paper in the printer but no ink. The third test ended with me actually passing after 45 minutes running on their treadmill. At least I didn't have to work out that day.

Nothing like using the lowest bidder contractor on something important like your employees' health.
