I want to know what your suggestions are for a good Street/Strip clutch setup. The car will be run on the street most of the time but will also be taken to the track every once in a while. I used to run Borg/Warner "Brute Force" but it is not available anymore plus it made the leg shake if traffic wasn't moving.
One suggestion was Centerforce Dual Friction but I have been hearing that if that clutch gets warm it will chatter starting out in first and reverse. I am wondering if the Centerforce II will hold up and not slip.
The motor is a big block 402, approx. 500hp, in the middle of getting a M22, 11" clutch, 3:73 gears with 28" tall tires.
Any help would be great.
