Been there brother and sorry to hear the news but if it's definitely over, the best advice I can offer is;
#1 - Put your relationship w/ your kids first and ahead of financial concerns and/or personal items..
The $ part can/will improve over the years to follow but time spent w/ children is truly a fleeting thing that we don't get second chances with..
#2 - Get all things dealt with and over as quickly as possible as it's often cheaper and more fair than later, especially if/when other's opinions enter the picture..
#3 - Read point #1 each time you have what seems a difficult decision to make..
