Default Re: 1970 Chevelle SS 396

On July 27 2007 another poster said in one of your threads...quoting...
''Frank
I talked to Gene a while back and he told me of the upgrades and that he sold it to you.
I never worried about a build sheet or docs when I bought it. It was such as nice car, it was a moot point.
Here's what I can tell you- everything is there to indicate true SS. As I remember, the engine, although not original, is date correct.''

Now I don't know what the posters relationship was to this car..sounds like he may have owned it once...

Whoever he is..he sounds enough like a numbers guy to have read date codes...

I'm not questioning anybody's integrity..as far as I know your version is gospel..but you know what when I asked you, you were to arrogant to tell me...but now you can tell everybody else your version because it's in the public eye..I had every reason to pull my bid.

And to say I pulled it because I wasn't a serious buyer is just more of your un-friendly side..

BTW..none of this needed to be on this board..it all could have been in e-mails or PM until YOU cast a shadow upon the way I do business. And go read the rules on listing a car for sale...you gotta tell us what the reserve is. And like I said..I wasn't busting your chops because you went down on the price..did you ever read my post?

Have a good Easter, I'm going to a less stressful place...right now...
