I've used a
Brunnhoelzl alum. jack for more than ten years now and have never had a problem with it. I bought it when light weight jacks were not as prolific as they are today and I needed a light one. It's USA made, and from what I've seen is a much better quality than most of these later entries in the market (possibly from a foreign country). Unfortunately even in our "recession" they are as pricey today as ten years ago. Although sometimes you get what you pay for.
