Default Re: Anybody have good China connection?

Sorry Darren X33 but I think that's why this is called the "Lounge". It is a place where we can talk about things that are 'not' car related.
In fact the non-car value of this site has been demonstrated by the fact that a member here has contacted me with information that may be very helpful.
Personally, I don't see how anybody could have a problem with that.

As to the fact that we probably won't be able to build this product in the U.S.: my partner and I have traveled to three different U.S. mfgs. to meet face to face with good American companies that want desperately to get into our product's mkt. We left the last one knowing this was a company we wanted to partner with. Our retail sellers have told us what the product needs to sell for. The price they agree on virtually set in stone. They know their business. I don't. U.S. makers put our product at a price the public will not pay. Our product would be relegated to boutique status.

This is the way the free mkt. works. The end user is king. He decides what he will pay and every other decision has to be based on that fact. Try selling gas on one corner for $4 when the guy across the street has it for $3. It's that simple.

Here's where the lounge can really shine....help me find a U.S. mfg. that will build my product at a price that is at least competitive, same ballpark, with the off shore mfgs. and I will give them the business!
