Dale Jr. would have been replaced by another driver years ago if it weren't for the Earnhardt name. It wasn't just last Sunday's race (where he missed his pit stall), it's been all through the past 10 years. He had early success on superspeedways, but he continues to whack walls and take himself out of races, make bonehead moves like pushing someone too hard in a draft (on a turn) and causing crashes, it just never ends. And if someone taps the guy, the fans are ready to lynch the driver that hit him. It's year after year, race after race, he continues to beat himself with poor judgement and inconsistent driving. Obviously, he IS a decent driver to be able to run NASCAR (he's won a few races), but he's NOT the wonder boy that his fans think he is, and that's the definition of overrated.

I think the best trade in NASCAR history has to be getting Kyle Busch for Dale Jr.
