I still have a couple of original packaged foam inserts for the fly-eye air cleaners that I just keep for nostalgia sake and they look fine in the plastic covered display..but after time the foam looses its elasticity and actually breaks down almost turning to sawdust when you handle the foam ..If you can form a ball with the foam and it spring back to its shape it's O.K.--....
