There are some cars where it does seem virtually impossible to get that bottom cushion out. I had an
EXTREMELY difficult time getting it out of my Chevelle, and when I finally did, I filed down the brackets on the floor so that I would never have that much trouble again. It can be a huge help to have someone else pushing back on that bottom cushion while you look under the lower edge of the cushion to see the position of the seat frame in relation to the bracket it's hooked into
I'd bet at the assembly plant they either had some huge gorilla of a guy putting those in, or else they had a huge pry bar for 'persuasion'
