Its basically a 283 block (larger journals though) with a large journal 327 crankshaft in it and pistons with a reduced compression height. If that combo was made up because of the parts laying around from 302 assembly it wouldn't be the craziest thing I ever heard!! I'll stop short of saying "that makes sense"
