Default Re: Attached Garage Storage Question

The best money we spent at our new shop was a heating/cooling system. nothing fancy, just a heat pump with electric backup (heat), with simple duct work.

We keep it at about 60 in the winter, 78-80 in the summer, which keeps everything nice and dry (condensation). We do use car covers, but for dust, and park on carpet. Besides keeping everything dry, it is nice to be able to go to the shop and all you have to do to be comfortable is adjust the thermostat.

In years past we did as others and basically put everything up for the winter, not spending much time in the shop, now a nice place to hang out..
