What's up with those rear leaf springs No clamps...and 6 leafs... with the short one stacked on top ?
Nice car with alot of Pop ! They don't all have to be 1000 pointers, buy it and drive it like a rental.

As far as the shade Granet red ? I will tell you that about 4 years ago I restored a 66 Chevelle, Regal Red. PPG had replaced the original formula for RR with the "offset color of 68 Fordstang Candy apple red . I was trying to mix it in PPG DBC. The ford offset was WAAAY to light.
I still had the original paint on the hood louvers and we shot that color with the electronic gun ( I forgot what that gizmo is called ?) and mixed from there. It came out dead nuts on.
The point is alot of these older colors may have been replace and a offset color is now in use and often not that close.
If your going into paint, you may want to investigate a little B4 you strip all the original.
Or check sYc, someone may have a good formula squirled away
