Not even close to BB. It's such a dark brown that it appears black in many pictures. And holy fender droop Batman! If this were a real L78 it would deserve much better.

Those repro rosewood wheels stand out like a sore thumb. I think Frost Green is an under-appreciated color, especially with contrasting black VT and stripes.

I have had a correct date coded water pump and rebuild kit for the L35 396 in my 69 Camaro for many years. A buddy gave this to me a long time ago, and I am just now getting around to rebuilding it....

I noticed that too. But I have a very early 69 L35 car tbat has a very weird nonsensical VIN stamp on the tranny, so I can vouch that some odd irregularities occurred at Van Nuys.
