I wanted to follow up and let you guys know I took the end of the factory linkage and welded it to the Hurst linkage and everyhtng works now. Took some adjusting but now all is good.

THANK YOU! I am going to verify everything but it sure looks like how we have it. I do have the spring on the wring track I noticed.

Original bucket seat car. Original floors. I just spent two hours with the owner who said it was original SS, these seats and these track. I am completely at my wits end.

To verify some basics....

These look exactly as I expected! Thank you very much. Now to figure out why mine are so fouled up. My belt retractor is in the same place relative to the sill plate. But the plastic seat trim up...

That looks right to me. But the seats I am working on (it is an SS if that is important) have this large plastic trim that goes around the bottom cushion on the sides. In the area in your photo...

Yes that is what I need. Now to find one! The one I have has only one hole and is really short.
