Is there any significance to a 2 piece rear brake line on a 68 Camaro? It splits at a junction block bolted to the subframe on the drivers side about in the middle of the door? I vaguely remember...

It all depends on which belts you're referring to.
For 1968, there were 22,988 Coupes built with the AK1 "Custom Deluxe Seat and Shoulder Belts".
There were 70 Convertibles built...
