It must have been the replica that was at the Super Car Reunion a few years ago. It had a very different sound. It did not sound like a big block Chevy.

Have you looked for the build sheet? Does it have a factory installed tach? Does it have a single 3/8 fuel line? What was the original gear ratio in the rear end?

Looks like Jamie got the front end problems fixed...

Looks like Jamie got the front end problems fixed and it's not dragging the rear bumper off the line now. He ran a 9.63 at 138 yesterday. Don't know what position he's in.

A few months ago I would have loved to have that oil pan. I looked all around here but couldn't find one. I had to use a truck pan, which is not what I wanted. It's done now and no turning back.

I put a film of RTV on both sides of the gasket....

I put a film of RTV on both sides of the gasket. You will hear 20 different ways of doing it. Some people have completely quit using gaskets, but that didn't work out too well for me.

Look at the third picture. Did you see the ripples and waves in the rocker panel and the door? Dave I bet the fit and finish on yours is much better than the originals.
