Re: Chrome Replating
Yes, I would like to know also. I need to have an air cleaner lid re-chromed. The only people I could find in OKC said they would have to punch holes in it to hang it??!! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...s/confused.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/no.gif

Re: Chrome Replating
Jeff I think that is the going rate. sc69sam and I just had this conversation a few weeks ago after looking at a set of wheel in need of a re-chrome.

Re: Chrome Replating
$250.00 a wheel is about right. If they are 2 piece wheels they have to come apart and hopefully they won't break. Anything with spokes is more because of the work involved. Darren and I discussed this subject in length.

Are they still sitting there Sam? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/wink.gif

Re: Chrome Replating
Air Cleaner lid already has one hole with which to attach bolt and wire (for submerging into chrome tank). Sounds absolutely wrong for anybody to suggest placing another hole.....

Re: Chrome Replating
I didn't understand that either...but for them to even suggest punching holes...that was all I needed to hear to know it was time to look elsewhere!
