I need a recommendation for a quality, trustworthy outfit. I am looking to restore a dealership emblem. It will need to be chromed as well.
Thanks, |

Sam try these guys...
www.customchromeplating.com 963 Mechanic St Grafton, OH 44044 (440) 926-3116 Grafton is about 30 minutes west of Cleveland. They do fantastic work but can be a little pricey.. Rich |

Sam
I could not remember the name the other day when you posted your question. Just seen there display again at Goodguys. Check out http://www.advancedplating.com/. in TN They are always at the big shows, they do potmetal. Another world class plater is http://www.paulschrome.com/ in PA. And the one Rich posted is also top shelf around here. Mike |
Re: pot metal restoration
Sam, years ago I worked for a company that sent all of their metal parts there for chroming. I personally know people who have used them and were very pleased with their work.. It is a very reputable company.
If you want I can get the piece from you when I see you at the reunion in August and take it in for you. That way I can check it out/pick it up personally for you when completed and then ship it back to you... Rich https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif |
Re: pot metal restoration
Wow - you guys are tops. I'll get up with you when I decide which way to go. Am considering some local shops that I have recently learned have good reps too.
Thanks and THANKS! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif |
