68 Camaro id
 

Is there anyway to tell if a 68 camaro is an original ss car without having the original drivetrain? The car in question is a race car and has been through a few engine swaps.

iam trying to find out info too i just got a 69 nova i nothing about too only thing i know about cameros are the number on tag for a 2door sport coupe is 12437 8cyl i bought a book it is ver super vage

What #s are on the cowl tag on the firewall. Does it have a 12 bolt rear or factory type dual exhaust hangers? A good site for information is http://www.camaros.org/index.shtml

would alyea i tried that on the tag under hood by the brake booster has som numbers and letters like st 69 wrn11427 lower down it has a 53 53 by what i think is the trim this car has a metal plate were my other nova had a radio strange huh it also has this gills like fish gills on the fenders whats l this mean
