12 bolt flange

working on a 67 full size car and wanted to know if the u-clamp type flange or strap/bolt type flange was correct? The car is a 427 with a muncie m-20.

Don't have a 67 but have 66 and 68. All 5 of those are strap on the 12 bolts as is all of our spare rearends.
