NGK spark plugs..
 
Looking for the part number for the NGK plugs you guys recommend for the 1970 L78 motor....saw this once before.

this is what I found in a search
the 5671 is for the 840s, the UR5 is for the 291.

Tom, I run the UR5 in my motor in the Nova, 70 L78 Motor. Thats the correct plug for that motor. They are great!! Really woke the combustion chamber up.. I was using the new AC Delcos and they were junk. I was getting a surge in the RPM range at about 3,500. I put the NGK plugs in and it made a huge difference, much smoother at idle and strong the through RPM range.. I highly recommend them!! You can pick them up at Advanced Auto Parts. Thats were I got mine last summer. I think they were like .95 cents a plug.. Well worth it!!

What about aluminum heads? I'm running NGK's in my iron heads. Can I reuse the same plugs?

What about the gap...??? that web link shows .060....what do you guys set them at..??

Set them at .035" if the car still has an OE points style distributor.
