Vinnie and Cody left OCC
Anybody else heard that Vinny and Cody have both left and started their own company? I was quite shocked to say the least. I guess you have to expect that, the show made the Teutels bigger than they could handle I think.
Heres a link to the new chopper company Vinny and Cody started called V-Force Customs: http://www.vforcecustoms.com/index.p...e&Itemid=1 Ken |

Re: Vinnie and Cody left OCC
I did read somwhere that Vinnie was getting sick of the travel with OCC. I guess that they do it on real short time frame (notice wise) and with his popularty he was obligated to go and it was starting to affect his home life. Just a personal opinion but I really believe that all Vinnie wants to do is build bikes and doesnt really care about all the crap that goes along with shooting a TV show. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/smirk.gif

Re: Vinnie and Cody left OCC
Strange... I do know that Paul Sr. is very giving with charities. For example the Fire Bike that was built travels around on tour and any monies made with the displaying of the bike go to families of the 911 victims or so I was told directly by an employee of the OCC Company. I saw the Fire Bike in person in New Philadelphia, Oh. a couple of years back at their antique mall. It was on display for a Fire Truck show that was being held there. The bike was quite impressive looking. I remember the attention to detail on the bike and the depth of the red paint, how vibrant and awesome looking it was..
I talked with the OCC employee that was with the bike for a while about the company and bikes. He said his job was to basically trailer the Fire bike around to different shows around the country.. He also said the bike was very akward to ride because of how heavy and off balance it was... I never met any of the cast members/employees of the show directly but they seem like a good bunch of guys. I'm also happy for the Tuetel family for their good fortune and popularity that the show made them. They were just a very small, unknown operation.. I think they have earned what they have and "KUDOS" to them!! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif Rich |
Re: Vinnie and Cody left OCC
These guys have made the American Dream...working on something that they are obviously passionate about...and getting rich in the meantime...
I was down here in Brasil a few months ago and went to a bike show and lo and behold, the OCC guys were here with 2 bikes signing autographs...you would not believe how popular they are here...the line for thier autographs started forming 4 hours before they arrived...by the time they arrived, there had to be 1000s of people waiting in line... these guys really made it!!! |
Re: Vinnie and Cody left OCC
I personally haven't watched the Show for years since they got the "Big Head" syndrome...........I knew someone that worked at Snap-On, and after they did the Bike for Snap-on and the series went into re-runs.....Paul Sr called Snap-on and wanted $50,000 from them because of the Snap-on Toolboxes and Banners in the Background and he felt that even though Snap-On donated all those Tools to them originally....he felt that was in the past and he should be Paid for the Free advertising.....they told him they weren't going to pay and he threw a "Temper Tantrum".......Well, on the next set of Episodes that were filmed they showed "Mikey" trying to drill something with a Snap-On Electric Drill and in Perfect Mikey form ....he didn't know what he was doing and said that the Snap-On Drill was a Piece of Junk..........Kindergarden Stuff....But it was Paul Sr's way of getting back at Snap-On for not throwing Gold at his Feet..........What a "Jerk".....and that go's for the rest of the Family too........
http://www.recordonline.com/apps/pbc...NEWS/706260312 But.....I guess they accomplished the American Dream....Fame and Fortune......Hard to deal with, I guess, especially without Formal Education and Big Business Skills....I guess it is hard to Adjust and keep everything in "Perspective" when everyone Kisses your A$$ continually....I also heard that we know someone was bidding on a Muscle Car that Paul Sr also wanted.....didn't go well and got personal(This is before Ebay protected Bidder I.D.'s........... Just my $.02 Ken |
Re: Vinnie and Cody left OCC
We were a vendor at the OCC show that occured two years in a row here in AZ. I'm sure that these guys were "normal" before they hit it big...but I was able to tlak to every one of them before the show opened each day...and the only person who didn't have a totally inflated ego was Vinnie...he was a down to earth guy. He made a few comments about "how much fun" https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...s/rolleyes.gif it was to work with those guys.
Surprisingly, even Cody already thought he was "all that". Somewhere I have pictures...at work! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif |
Re: Vinnie and Cody left OCC
You know, I just checked out this "V-Force" web site and I all I see are forklifts in an empty building and guys doing wheelies on scooters. Please. No choppers at all. It looks like they were more concerned with getting their T-shirts and hats ready to sell before building any actual motorcycles. Shows you where their priorities are.
