Cliff Ernst, 69 Yenko Nova

I saw it on Muscle Car on Spike. It was in the Muscle Car spotlight. I searched here but came up with nothing.

I saw that on spike TV as well. I attended the first annual reunion and had the opportunity to meet Mr. Ernst, and see all of his amazing cars. He is a very nice guy and has a lot of awesome rides! Before they introduced him,I saw that the Yenko Nova was fathom green, so I pretty much guessed that it was his. I've only seen 2 69 Yenko Novas in person. Cliff's car and the Red one at the 2nd annual reunion. I think that the show said that there were eight in existance. I've seen pictures of 2 red ones, one lemans blue, one rallye green, and one fathom green. What colors are the remaining three cars? The show also said they were worth somewhere in the neighborhood of 300K. That can't be right. The 69 Yenko Camaros are bringing almost that now, right? You would think that the much more rare nova would bring closer to 500K. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...s/confused.gif

I would say that the Yenko Novas are worth somewhere in the $6-800,000 range.

I would say to be worth that kind of money it needs paperwork proving it is a 427 car and even then I'm not sure the top Yenko's are bringing that kind of money anymore.

I think the 'top' Yenkos are still strong, they just are not being offered for sale!

I seem to remember reading about one selling a few years ago for something like $685,000. My CRS is acting up so I don't remember where I read it.

....Which leads us to wonder how many 1969 Yenko Novas actually have 427 conversion documentation. Warren D told me once that he remembers one conversion. The VV Cooke Nova has it, right? So, how many 5-7 out of the 37 https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/hmmm.gif
