IMO I think it is a made up 837. Compare the #7'S between the PN# 837 and the amp rating 37A.
The 37A is the way the 7 should look, notice how the lower leg of the 7 is different. Mike |

https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/show...e/0#Post300990 My thought was the 7 in "37A" may look that way due to a light stamping. The bottom of the 7 sort to disappears thus losing the strong curve. Is the "hook" fan on the 837 alternators a later in the year part? I have an 8L alternator with the same fan shown in Jason's picture.
