Re: 69 L78 Pace car survivor
Rick, you should buy it and restore it! Looks like a nice original car. How many of these do you think were produced? What would be the value once restored?

The problem is I thought I'd be Mr. Smart Muscle Car Guy and get ahead of the curve a few months back so I bought a number of cars as well as a ton of parts. I've got some real cool stuff but not enough jack. I tried to trade Roy one of my 69 rollers, a set of 074 heads, a brand new broom + 11.00 for the Pacer but he just wouldn't go for it, what a loser. Seriously, I've heard production numbers of any where from 100 to 300 L78 Pace Cars, maybe 5+ unrestored? I've seen a couple of frame off L78's being offered in the 150-170K range |

Let's be honest, I said we had a deal till you pulled the Full set of muffler bearings out of the Deal! LOL

Re: 69 L78 Pace car survivor
Saw this car at the Houston Autorama this past weekend with a FOR SAlE sign on it. A Survivor that is tired. Would need a complete restoration in my opinon. The block apears to have been decked, so it's questionable.
