Busch Series to field Ponycars in 09
kyle petty and ray evernham discussed on Tradin Paint that NASCAR is going to field Ponycars in the 2009 Busch (or whoever takes over sponsorship) Series. sounds like Dodge Challengers, Ford Mustangs, Chevrolet Camaro's and Toyota Supra's will be the ones doing battle. I wouldnt mind seeing this series taking over the Nextel Cup as the top draw.
Hopefully we will be welcoming back 'Race on Sunday, Sell on Monday"! |

About 20 years after Detroit went to sleep at the wheel and stopped offering an alternative to "foreign" models.

If you mean toyotas (over 15 million made in USA in the last 20 years), they entered the truck series in 2004 then followed into the busch and cup in 2007. If you mean the other makes that are assembled in mexico and canada with parts from china and elsewhere, well its hard to say exactly when those cars became foreign https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/frown.gif |
