Nova, camaro BB manual trans crossmember
 

I bought a NOS crossmember that has is listed for 68-69 Camaro 396,68-70 Chevy 396 and 73-74 Nova. I know for a Nova, the mounting slots are offset to the right side and one corner in the hole on the bottom is chamfered at a 45. I thought the Camaro was the same, am I correct? The part number is 3899006.
This looks like a typical SB manual trans crossmember. The slots are not offset nor is the chamfer there.
Is this a mistake on Chevy or do some of the Camaro BB take crossmember?

The Nova and Camaro crossmembers are identical, and have the IBM punchcard hole.

That part number, per my sources, is for a 68-74 Nova or 67-69 Camaro crossmember EXCEPT for the 396 cars. In other words, it's not for a big block.
