Tranny/Rear Axle Lubricant Pump.
Looking for recommendations and sources for either a hand pump or pneumatic (shop air) system for putting oil in trannys (side fill) and Rear Axles.
Thanks! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ins/tongue.gif |
Re: Tranny/Rear Axle Lubricant Pump.
Sam, Usually the 1 quart plastic bottles have spouts/tubes you can use. They are about a foot long that go over the small opening in the spout. The plastic flexible tube is about the correct size to stick in your trans or rear hole fill. Maybe you are looking for something more permanent? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif Sam

Re: Tranny/Rear Axle Lubricant Pump.
I purchased a pump (looks like a hand soap pump with a clear tube attached) at pep boys...It's was designed to put oil in outboard motors..but it worked just fine for filling up my M21. It was over by the "help" isle

Re: Tranny/Rear Axle Lubricant Pump.
Good input guys. Sam, I have used the spout tubes and longed for a better solution. It does work, but it takes a long time and is not very efficient. Guess I am looking for a more permanent solution. Jtower - will check out Pep Boys. Thanks guys.
Anyone else? |
